Job Vacancies at Management Science for Health

Christian Health Association of Nigeria [CHAN], in partnership with Management Sciences for Health [MSH], are implementing in Nigerian Indigenous Capacity Building Project [NICaB] in six states – ABIA, BENUE, DELTA, OYO, SOKOTO and TARABA. In collaboration with indigenous NGOs, NICaB’s goal is to strengthen CHAN member hospitals’ capacity to respond to HIV/AIDS in their communities, provide quality HIV/AIDS treatment services and interventions, and improve integration of TB/HIV diagnosis and treatment services, in order to expand community outreach and improve laboratory management and standards, NICAB is seeking qualified short-term consultants in these 2 areas.


COMMUNITY SERVICES CONSULTANT

Qualifications
  • Post graduate in social science, public health, nursing/midwifery or related discipline, with at least 3 years experience in community mobilization and community facilitation;
  • Experience in community HIV/AIDS services working with local NGOs, FBOs, and CBOs under donor – funded programs;
  • Understanding of the continuum of care for Persons Living with HIV/AIDS [PLWHA];
  • and willingness to travel to project sites.



LABORATORY MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT

Qualifications
  • Post graduate in Medical Laboratory science, with at least 5 years experience in an automated HIV/AIDS Laboratory; Demonstrable capacity to operate A CD4, hematology and chemistry automated equipment.
  • Experience working with an HIV/AIDS laboratory, as well as management, supervision, and teach of laboratory staff and willingness to travel to project sites.
  • The Consultants are expected to provide services approximately 10 days of level of Effort [LOE] per month.
